SK Gaming’s LEC 2022 lineup is impressive and we couldn’t be happier with it! It’s rare for a mid-level goalkeeper to be able to keep his most important player, and even rarer still, to sign someone who will elevate the team even further and give him a fighting chance.

So, if you’re a SK fan, you definitely have a reason to celebrate! This line-up won’t overturn the LEC’s status quo nor will it dethrone the reigning champions any time soon (if ever), but it will still stand out and not be taken lightly. SK’s group performed quite impressively in the spring, and that might also be the case in the summer if they are not forced to change their line-up.

Overall, SK was handled poorly, so it’s no surprise that they failed to defend and survive amidst the worst possible odds. Still, there’s at least a silver lining to all this: they were able to retain their top laner, AD carry, and support — an excellent core that will no doubt make this incarnation of SK quite competitive in the future. LEC season 2022. And, what’s even better, they’ve brought in an experienced veteran Jungler (and also a shotcaller) and a very promising ERL mid laner (and LFL champion) who, coincidentally, has played with said Jungler for years ago.

So, all things considered, SK has made improvements in the things that matter most, and is certainly infinitely motivated to get back on the “right path!”

The following five players will all compete under the SK Gaming banner for the 2022 LEC season:

SK Gaming 2022 LEC Player Lineup

Top Line: Janik”Genax” Bartel

Forest: Erberk”Gilius” Iron [formerly of Schalke 04]

Middle Line: Daniel”Sertus“Gamani [formerly of Berlin International Gaming]

ADVERTISEMENT Bring:Jean”Jesus”Masol

Support: Erik”Treat” in Wessen

What an interesting mix, consisting of both seasoned veterans And promising young talents. And while none of these players will go down in history, they will at least make things very competitive and Canof course, attract attention. Jenax was surprisingly solid last spring; he really found his footing after switching roles up and has very respectable stats for a player who wasn’t expected to accomplish much.

Gilius, on the other hand, needs no introduction. He has been a starter in the LEC for what feels like forever, and beyond No It didn’t take long for him to climb the rankings and return to competing on the biggest stage in Europe. He’s a great Jungler, despite his flaws. Luckily, its flaws aren’t severe enough to negate many of its strengths and overall qualities. Gilius was never really part of a great roster, but he always found a way to be relevant.

After his incredible run with Schalke, we know for sure that he is still strong and capable of performing at his best when it matters most, which is why we are so excited to see him at SK for the 2022 LEC season — his style is a perfect fit and should, of course, produce good results Extraordinary. Additionally, the fact that he will be competing alongside former teammate Sertuss is also a very promising sign. They already have synergy and it may not take much time to reach a common understanding with the rest of the team.

Speaking of Sertuss, he hasn’t been a pro player for a long time, but still he has achieved a lot of great things in the ERL. His stint with Schalke 04 Evolution was good, although without great success. It wasn’t until he signed with Misfits Premier that he was truly able to shine and make a name for himself. He’s the defending LFL champion, remember, and the fact that he had to go through Karmine Corp to become champion makes it even more impressive.

The only part of SK Gaming’s 2022 line-up that still leaves a bit to be desired is the bottom lane duo. Now, Treatz is absolutely amazing and has impressed us greatly since his return to Europe, but the same cannot be said for Jezu. This French native always does Okay but never Bigand even his “okay” moment didn’t surprise anyone. In fact, far from it. Not that he’s a liability, but having a sharpshooter in today’s meta can often make or break a team’s chances late in the game.

And, Jezu is not the type of individual who will make the game a winner. Or him Nodoesn’t mean he can’t become One. However, we haven’t seen anything too promising, so it’s hard to believe in its hypothetical growth.

Treatz, on the other hand, has truly grown into a capable leader and a supporter worth mentioning. His feat didn’t last long as he had to switch roles to the jungle, but we know what he’s capable of and can’t wait to see him in action!

And to be honest, this applies to SK Gaming as a whole. They have made the right changes to their roster and should be able to compete for a playoff spot. How high they will ultimately soar remains to be seen, but they are capable, experienced and not to be trifled with.

On paper, they have all the right tools to beat teams like Misfits, Team BDS, EXCEL, Astralis, and maybe even Rogue (if they implode after losing their two most important catalysts). Overall, SK have made two great roster changes and as a result, they should be able to climb the rankings during the 2022 LEC season. And, if Sertuss lives up to the hype, they might even break the status quo!

The 2022 LEC Spring Split is scheduled to begin on January 14 and, it looks like, we’ll be ready for it!
