And now, fans are speculating about the 31 day countdown that appeared on the Prime Video website to coincide with the broadcast of the final episode of season 2. Is this a sign that there will be a new game announcement?

This speculation comes from a Twitter/X account called Its_Jabo. The tweet he gave caused a reaction from netizens where he said that there was a mysterious countdown to the final season 2 of the Fallout TV Series and asked whether this was a Remaster announcement.

This countdown will end on February 4 2026 and is in accordance with the broadcast schedule for episode 12 which is the final episode for the TV Series Fallout Season 2 on Prime Video.

Of course, netizens immediately launched wild speculations such as the announcement of a Remaster from New Vegas and even provided compatibility such as the news that Bethesda was working on a Fallout game and so on.

Not only New Vegas, other speculation also emerged regarding Fallout 3 Remaster which was leaked because the FTC accidentally shared Bethesda’s roadmap showing plans for Fallout 3 Remaster in 2024.

It could just be a Season 3 announcement

The rumors circulating originate from speculation without truly accurate evidence so the rumors cannot be completely disproved. Todd Howard himself said they were working on a lot of things.
