Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter on Steam Indonesia Officially Reduced Price

Despite the successful release of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter by Nihon Falcom some time ago, quite a few players in the Southeast Asia region – especially Indonesia – complained about the price of the game on Steam which reached one million rupiah.

Good news, recently the game page has implemented a new price approach regional prices recommended by Steam, namely a decrease of around 31%. For the standard version it changes from IDR 1,022,310 to IDR 699,000, while for the luxurious decreased from IDR 1,364,910 to IDR 950,000.

If you look at the data from SteamDB, it is known that the price change occurred on October 20 2025 at half past five in the morning.

For your information, previously many players speculated that imposing such a high price for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter was a policy of GungHo Online Entertainment as the publisher. Then compare it with previous publishers of various games, Nihon Falcom, which is considered to be able to set prices that are much friendlier to the players’ pockets.

GungHo itself seems to have listened to these complaints, because at the beginning of October it issued a statement that it would impose new prices for several Southeast Asian countries, including Indonesia:

• Malaysia – Ringgit
• Philippines – Peso
• Thailand – Baht
• Vietnamese – Dong
• CIS – US Dollar
• LATAM – US Dollar
• MENA – US Dollar
• AMOUNT – US Dollars
